At the Races

Hello everyone :)
 Evi here!
So today I went to the horse races to watch some of my other four legged friends run around in circles with carts behind them. It was so much fun! One of my friends even won her race :) I watched from the side lines and cheered for her the whole time!
Hip-Hip!
HURRAY!!!
I had a great time, and my public loved me! While I was there everybody kept trying to pick me up and cuddle me, Mom said its just because I'm just so darn cute, so I can't help it! :)

It's amazing how much people love dogs, ME in particular :) But why? Take me for example, I bark, I chew, I go in the pond, I roll in the mud, I chase the ducks, I almost always smell, and yet my family loves me with no end! And I know lots of other dogs that do the same thing that are not as cute as me (like my brother!) that receive the same unconditional love. So I did a little research, and found this, an explanation:

"Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring--it was peace."
- Milan Kundera

So maybe he means even if we are (as four legged people) a bit jealous or upset, its not to the extent of most Human~people, and maybe that's a just refreshing company :)
Okay, I'm sleepy, I hope you all have Sheep dreams!

The Audacity of Some Humans..

You wont believe the day I have had. I think my mother actually tried to kill me. She cut my nails.

Pedicure? More like torture.

It was humiliating.

Don't even look at me!

This is what you get mom, chew up my nails I shall chew on your shoe!! AH-HA!
Okay...since I have nothing more to say I will go pout in a corner until Mom gives me a bone or a toy. This should make her feel bad....

Goodnight?

Hello Everybody!
It's Evi, I know its late but I couldn't help but wake mom up with incessant whining, I just had to pee! Its amazing how grumpy my humans get after the lights go out, so its a good thing I'm so cute.
After mom brought me back inside and tucked me in with my favorite one eyed piggy and kissed me goodnight, I wondered about how much we do to get what we want. Or what we have to do to get what we want. My sister (well I think she is adopted, she is a silly blonde floppy-headed dog with long legs) has to do crazy things to get what she wants! She has learned to open things, close things, retrieve things, even wait for her food! (She obviously doesn't know how to train humans.) And she does all of this for a tiny bit of kibble. All I do is cry a bit and be adorable and I get exactly what I ask for. Is that true with all of us? Are many of us that hard worker, working for just one kibble, or is it just a matter of cocking your head to the left and having a nice set of big brown eyes?
Whatever it is, I'm going to stick to the cute thing to get what I want. It's a dog eat other dog's food world out there, and I don't want to take chances! But then again, I'm only 6 months old. :)
Goodnight world, sheep dreams!

Welcome!

Hello everybody! My name is Evi
I'm a Cardigan Welsh Corgi, and some of my favorite things in the world is to go on adventures, eat, sleep, play and chew on my best-friends Tracker and Cheasly, and get into trouble! I hope you enjoy!
I always try to keep a thick coat of mud on! ;)
